(15 ISBE Clock Hours) This Quick Credit Course will provide you with a guideline for teaching testing behaviors, testing strategies, and a process for students to justify their answer choices on assessments. You will learn specific behaviors or strategies to identify in students, and some simple methods to explicitly teach appropriate testing behaviors. This course also comes with an external testing behaviors checklist as well as an answer justification checklist that can be utilized in lessons to help support students in test-taking.

At the conclusion of this course, you will earn 15 ISBE clock hours, including a signed ISBE certificate.

Continuing Education hours through Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) are offered as ISBE clock hours and indicated as continuing education clock hours on a University provided certificate. Although offered in partnership with NEIU, they do not result in graduate- level or academic credit and cannot be used toward a degree program.
