(2 Graduate Semester Credits) This course is essential training for any teacher providing a combination of at-home (or out-of-class) online learning and in-school classroom instruction. Learn how to plan for flipped learning, including how to determine what content can be learned at home, how to deliver online lessons, and the best ways to reinforce student knowledge with rigorous in-class activities. You will design an action plan for your classroom, develop an additional resource to support your plan, and analyze research to support implementation in the classroom. The course ends with you designing an implementation plan designed to ensure you are successfully incorporating the lesson concepts, ideas, and resources into a future lesson.

With all of the discussions going on now around COVID, our school has been seeking out new strategies to prepare for more at-home student learning. This course was perfect for what we needed! I loved the resources and helpful strategies on how to split our lesson planning between at-home and in-class learning activities. We will definitely use what we have learned in this course, it had everything we needed!
