HOW OUR COURSES WORK

  • Accreditation & Approval Information
SNHU Logo Round-8-23

See the SNHU course list below for total course pricing.  Registration is broken up into two parts: your initial Model Teaching registration fee (varies depending on your course & provides you one full year of access to the course and scoring by your instructor) and $70 per credit set by the University to post your grade and process your credits.  Once you register and pay the Model Teaching fee, you will have access to your course(s), complete them at your own pace, and then once complete, pay your credit fee of $70/credit to process your credits and request your transcript.

You may complete up to 15 credits per semester, per university. If you need more than 15 credits in a semester, please select multiple university partnered courses when ordering or when building a custom bundle package.

If You Require More Than 15 Credits/Semester, We Recommend You:

A.  Spread out your required number of credits over more than 1 academic semester (Spring, Fall, or Summer)

or

B.  Choose multiple university partners (up to 15 credits per university) when ordering or building a custom bundle package.

Please always check with your district to confirm how many total credits they will accept in a given semester.

*The semester in which you pay for credits and are registered in the University system is the semester in which your courses will show up on your transcript, regardless of if you took those courses in a different semester or not.

To read about each course, please see the SNHU course list below. You will be directed to a detailed course page.

Please refer to our SNHU course list below for a listing of each course.  You may click on each course to view its detailed course page. Within each course page, you will have access to a syllabus that you may download.

Yes, all university-partnered graduate-level courses will include access to an official transcript from the university.  Once complete, you will receive information on how to request your transcript.

You may enroll in up to 15 credits per semester.

Because you have access to courses for one year, the semester in which your grade is posted will be the semester in which your course is completed.

Upon completion of your course, your course work is graded, and your grade is posted to the Model teaching dashboard typically within 48 hours.

When you are ready to request your credits, you will follow the instructions on your Model Teaching course completion certificates which will provide detailed instructions on how to pay the course credit fees and request your transcript(s).

Grades are posted typically within one week, and you will receive an email from SNHU providing you with instructions on requesting your transcripts.

Transcripts are typically processed within one to two weeks.

*The semester in which you pay for credits and are registered in the University system is the semester in which your courses will show up on your transcript, regardless of if you took those courses in a different semester or not. So, plan accordingly if you must have your courses completed within a certain semester, and be sure to pay for your credits in that semester. *If you are near the end of a semester, give yourself a several-week buffer to have your courses registered in the system of your University. For example, if you are taking courses in December, they must be processed before the end of the Winter Break. If they are not, your credits will be moved to the next semester.

Though SNHU can process course credits quickly, we recommend that you complete your coursework at least one month prior to your transcript deadline.
