(45 ISBE Clock Hours) This comprehensive course will provide an overview of financial literacy and provide tools you can use to help you build a plan for your own personal financial fulfillment if you choose to do so.

It will provide an overview of the most important elements and considerations that go into putting together a financial game plan and building a financially literate mindset. You will come away with an understanding of the whole picture of financial literacy, important vocabulary, how to build and execute a plan, money management, investing, budgeting, debt reduction, tricks to get you through pitfalls, and show you how to build a structured long-term financial plan as your first step. You will also come away with advice on how to really dig into the details with further study if you choose to do so.
