No.  You will NOT need to have access to a classroom or students in order to complete any courses from Model Teaching.  We do structure our courses with a focus on implementation so you may use what you have learned in your classroom if you choose, however, you do not need to actually implement the course content in order to complete the courses.

No.  The only fees are your initial Model Teaching registration fee to pay for your desired credits package and then your $70/credit fee once you are ready to request your credits and transcript(s).  That’s it!  Once you register, you will have access to all courses included.  You may choose any courses you wish to take until you have exhausted your number of credits and complete them at your own pace.  Once complete, you may pay for your credits ($70 per credit) and request your transcript.
You may complete up to 15 credits per semester, per university. If you need more than 15 credits in a semester, please select multiple university partnered courses when building your bundle package.

If You Require More Than 15 Credits/Semester, We Recommend You:

A.  Spread out your required number of credits over more than 1 academic semester (Spring, Fall, or Summer)

or

B.  Choose multiple university partners (up to 15 credits per university) when building your bundle package.

Please always check with your district to confirm how many total credits they will accept in a given semester.


Weekly Course Minimum Policy

Recall that one credit is equivalent to 15 hours of seat time, two credits are equivalent to 30 hours of seat time, and three credits are equivalent to 45 hours of seat time. You must allocate a minimum of one week per course to complete all assignments, but you may take longer than this if you wish. For example, this means that if you register for two courses on the same date, you cannot request credits until at least two weeks after that time period. Or you can register for one course and complete it in a minimum of one week’s time before enrolling in your next course. If you have any questions or need support, please chat with us!

Yes!  You can purchase more bundled credits at any time.  Any credits you purchase will be good for 1 year.

All Model Teaching university partners are regionally accredited universities.  You will receive an official transcript and letter grade verifying your earned semester credits (Academic credits, Graduate-level credits,  semester hours, semester units, etc.) from the university itself.  Model Teaching academic credit courses are specifically designed for teacher re-licensure and salary advancement purposes.

Yes, all university-partnered graduate-level courses will include access to an official transcript and letter grade from the university. Once complete, you will receive information on how to request your transcript.

Please refer to our course menu below for a listing of each course. You may click on each course to view its detailed course page. Within each course page, you will have access to a syllabus that you may download.

Once you purchase your credits package, you will be taken to a registration page where you may enroll in your courses until you have used up all of your credits.  You will then be taken to your course dashboard where you may access any of the courses you have enrolled in.

Because you have access to courses for one year, the semester in which your grade is posted will be the semester in which your course is completed.

Upon completion of your course, your course work is graded, and your grade posted to the Model teaching dashboard typically within 48 hours.

When you are ready to request your credits, you will complete the provided form found within your course module and pay the course credit fees.

Grades are posted typically within one to 3 weeks (depending on the university partner), and you will receive instructions from Model Teaching or our university partner on how to then request your transcript(s).

Transcripts are typically processed within one to two weeks.

Though our university partners can process course credits quickly, we recommend that you complete your coursework at least 6-8 weeks prior to your transcript deadline.
