Course Description:

(45 ISBE Clock Hours) In this course, you will learn about the components of effective academic discussion and will be able to build a complete plan to implement academic discussions in your classroom. Through a detailed planning process that includes defining your discussion purpose, building rigorous questions, preparing your students for discussion, and supporting your students throughout and after discussion, you will have a plan in place to ensure students are mastering content knowledge aligned with your lesson objectives.
