In this course, we will dig into all of these core concepts of financial literacy, plus review some of the key factors that you can evaluate about your own thoughts, personality, and particular situation to help you build a plan that will work for you.

This course will provide teachers with the key components of financial literacy, including personal risk/reward assessment, budgeting, debt reduction, and investment strategies, as well as tips to get started on a path to financial wellness. Specifically designed for the needs of teachers, participants will receive multiple tools and planning documents to help build a long-term financial success game plan if they choose to do so. The course will begin by introducing the concept of financial literacy and explaining why it is crucial to the well-being and productivity of teachers and educators. The course will then explore the differences between financial intelligence and financial literacy, and why improving your financial intelligence is crucial to understanding your personal goals, needs, and wants.

The course will then help teachers evaluate their monthly cash flow through budgeting and provide strategies and tips to help reduce or eliminate debt. Participants will then learn about wealth building through investment strategies, including the various tools they may uniquely have access to as teachers.
