SUGAR LAND, Texas (PRWEB) February 06, 2025

Model Teaching â€” an industry-leading provider of affordable, online professional development courses for teachers — is announcing a new partnership with Augustana University to offer graduate credit courses applicable to salary advancement and license renewal that can also apply toward an online Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree. Through this program, teachers can complete up to nine credits worth of courses from Model Teaching’s course menu to apply toward Augustana’s M.Ed. program — giving teachers and educators a cost-effective and convenient option to earn a master’s degree while maintaining their teaching license requirements or pursuing salary advancement.

How the Program Works

Complete Online Learning With Model Teaching: Utilize up to nine credits of coursework from the Model Teaching online course menu to apply to Augustana’s full 30-credit M.Ed. program. Just register for one of Model Teaching’s bundled course packages and get started immediately. Once finished, one may apply up to nine credits of Model Teaching coursework toward Augustana’s program.

Complete the Remaining Coursework Through Augustana’s M.Ed. Program: After completing nine credits with Model teaching, apply to the accredited Augustana M.Ed. program and complete the remaining 21 required course credits through its online graduate program.

Cost Savings: Teachers and educators can earn a fully accredited M.Ed. with significantly lower tuition by applying up to nine credits from Model Teaching. The total program tuition is less than $12,000 — substantially lower than the national average of $55,000 for an M.Ed. degree.
